SAMANTHA KRUGER
ANIMATOR
Samantha Kruger grew up in rural Wisconsin and is currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Stout where she is studying to receive a BFA in Entertainment Design Animation with a Performing Arts Minor. She draws inspiration from novels, personal experiences, and the observable world. She has a bubbly, energetic personality and is passionate about everything she works on. She loves listening to and creating music, as well as watching musicals both on and off the screen.
MELANIE VANOSS
ANIMATOR
Being mostly self-taught before college, I had to learn how to be independent and find my own resources that I could learn from. Working in food service during high school taught me important skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication that are important for a future in animation. I know how to problem-solve and I won’t give up easily when faced with a challenge. I have experience with animating in both 2d and 3d along with 3d modeling. I aspire to create my own animated series.
JAKE LEROM

I primarily enjoy drawing characters in energetic poses using programs like Photoshop, but also do enjoy using 3D modeling engines. I have been drawing digitally for 6 years and continue to watch myself grow.

I believe that animation is the best medium for storytelling. The versatility allows the artist to created essentially anything they want. Having loved art and storytelling my whole life animation was an easy decision for a career path. I am currently a junior in the Entertainment Design program at University of Wisconsin Stout with a concentration in animation.

As an artist I always try and be as creative as I can by thinking outside of the box for each project that I’ve worked on. By process of ideation, it allows me to become as creative as I want and allows me to combine or select parts of ideas that work. I work hard and learn from experiences and adapt when I need to.

Devin Loken is an animator from Rosemount, Minnesota and project group leader. Devin Loken is a senior at UW-Stout going for a major in Entertainment Design and animation concentration.
